Heat Orkney Ltd is a distributor and supplier of Panasonic heat pumps and air conditioning systems,
Excelsior hot tanks and sundries for air heat pump installations. In addition we install all types
of heating and air conditioning systems.
The heat pumps are available in both air-to-air and air-to-water variations, and in a variety of
types, shapes and sizes. The systems are ideal for any size of domestic or industrial premises, and
can easily be retro-fit in to existing homes. The air-to-water systems can be installed instead of a
normal oil boiler - even with normal or cast iron radiators. The heat pump generates up to 65 degsC.
All of Panasonic's air-to-water range is MCS accredited.
The heat pump principle is that for 1kW of energy put in, it is possible to achieve 6kW or more of
heat out, this is called the CoP of the system. Panasonic's range is industry leading throughout,
and this is the benchmark which should be considered when installing any modern heating systems.
Installation
Heat Orkney can design, and install all types and sizes of heat pumps and air conditioning systems at
very competative prices. The company has been supplying and installing heat pumps throughout Orkney,
Shetland, North of Scotland and Aberdeenshire since 2008. These include everything from a one
bedroom flat, through to industrial buildings, offices and large commercial premises.

Due to the North of Scotland location, the heat pump is idea for heating homes and businesses. The
units can still generate more than it consumes even as low as -15 degsC.
